NOBTS, GA/AL Extension Centers Join us on Monday, October 22, 2018 for the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary Preview Day at the North GA Hub!  Prospective students will have the opportunity to learn about NOBTS programs and to dialogue with NOBTS faculty, students, and staff. If you have any friend, relative, family member, and church member who is interested in the study with NOBTS, please invite them to the NOBTS Campus Preview Day. NGA Campus Preview Day will be held from 9:30 am to 1 pm (followed by the option to observe a seminary class).    9:30 am   Check-In and Light Refreshments    9:45 am   Welcome & Introduction to NOBTS    11:30 am  Break    11:45 am  Lunch    NOON       Guest Speaker: NOBTS Provost Dr. Norris Grubbs    1:00 pm    Class Observation    2:30 pm    Dismiss Location:  Magnolia Room at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church (first-floor entrance from the North parking lot).  **Lunch is FREE for prospective students and their guests (*registration is required to receive free lunch). The special guest speaker is Dr. Norris Grubbs, Provost, and Professor of New Testament and Greek. Looking to make $75, receive two free books, and learn more about what the Bible says about money and possessions? This fall, our PREP office will once again be offering our FREE 7 week financial compass classes. See below for more information. Who: Any student and/or student spouse (Spouse does NOT have to be a student) What: 7 week financial class that meets once a week for one hour.  When: Beginning the week of September 24th and ending the week of November 12th. Time Options: Monday (Webcam) - 6:00pm CT - 7:00pm CT Tuesday (Webcam) - 6:00pm CT - 7:00pm CT Expectations: We are expecting our students to commit 1 hour a week to attend the compass class. All students must attend 6 of 7 classes and take our two surveys to receive the $75 stipend!  Why: If you choose to participate and meet our above expectations, you will receive $75 on your student account in addition to 2 FREE books.  If you are interested in participating, please complete this short form using the Compass Sign Up. Our No Restraints Conference will be this April 26-27 in New Orleans. Our speakers will be Dr. Jim Shaddix and Dr. Tommy Green. The course is free to all students. Another plus is the course does not have any prework, just post.  We usually open registration in January and should have the new website up then.
