We would like to invite your interest regarding potential graduate study options relevant to PhD and ProDoc programs at NOBTS. If you plan to graduate your Master program before Dec. 2019, we love to invite you to "PhD & ProDoc Informational Luncheon" for your higher degree programs. Dr. Kendrick will be hosting the luncheon on March 25th (Monday), 2019 at 11: 30 AM. Now that the semester is underway, it's a great time to check on your progress in your degree program and make sure you're on track! *NGA and Birmingham Centers are Moving!

We are pleased to share with you that the North Georgia Extension Campus meeting at Johnson Ferry Baptist Church and the English and French language programs meeting at First Baptist Duluth will be moving to a new location: Cross Pointe Church, 1800 Satellite Blvd NW, Duluth, GA 30097.

Birmingham center will be moving to a new location as well: Valleydale Baptist Church, 2324 Valleydale Rd, Birmingham, AL 35244 ( location 8.1 miles from former location). 
We (NGA Center) will close our office on Friday, May 16, 2019 at 5:00 pm to begin the moving process and will re-open at our new location on or before Monday, July 1st, 2019 at 8:00 am.
Our Faculty and Staff will be available to serve you during the move. You should not experience any changes or delays in your academic planning.

*Free 7- Week PREP Financial Compass Course!
Looking to make $75, receive two free books, and learn more about what the Bible says about money and possessions? This spring, our PREP office will once again be offering our FREE 7-week financial compass classes. See below for more information.
Who: Any student or student spouse (Spouse does NOT have to be a student)
What: 7-week financial class, using the Compass material, that meets once a week for one hour.
WhenBeginning the week of February 18th and ending the week of April 8th (7 weeks).
Class Options:
  • Monday (Webcam) - 6:00pm CT - 7:00pm CT
  • Tuesday (Webcam) - 6:00pm CT - 7:00pm CT
Expectations: We are expecting our students to commit 1 hour a week to attend their compass class. All students must attend 6 of 7 classes and take our two surveys to receive the $75 stipend! 

Why: If you choose to participate and meet our above expectations, you will receive $75 on your student account in addition to 2 FREE books. Please click here for more detailed information.

*Keesee Scholarship Opportunity

We have received exciting news from the Charles B. Keesee Education Fund, a major source of scholarship support for seminary students. 
The Keesee Fund has notified us that they have expanded their list of student home states eligible for scholarship applications. In addition to the current states of VirginiaNorth Carolina, and South Carolina, now students from GeorgiaTennessee, Kentucky, and West Virginia will be eligible to apply for the grant. This is a significant financial aid opportunity for students who chose to study at the New Orleans campus and come from those states. Here are some details: 
  • Grant amount ranges from $3,500 to $8,000 per year
  • Must apply each year for the grant
  • Grants are available for a maximum of 8 semesters 
  • Must be a New Orleans Campus Student
  • MDiv., MA., and DMin. students are eligible
  • Application Deadline for 2019-2020 academic year is April 1, 2019

*Zotero / Research Assistant Software
Zotero is a research assistant software that helps you keep track on your sources and properly cite them in Word with the click of a button. 

The program is extremely helpful for your research papers, dissertations, and etc.
