NOBTS Israel Pilgrimage March 2020

Hey, NOBTS students!

Have you been dreaming of an opportunity to go the Holy Land? Well, now is the time ... especially if you're a full-time student at an NOBTS extension center (remember that means you're enrolled in two on-campus classes)!

Under the direction of Providence Travel Programs, NOBTS students are invited to jump on the Israel Pilgrimage next year in March 2020. Limited seats are available from Atlanta (instead of having to start in New Orleans). See the attached brochure for details, including the incredible cost savings for full-time students. Also attached is the application form that needs to be filled out and sent in with a deposit as soon as possible.

I highly recommend this trip if you can make it happen. As you may have heard before, visiting the sites that you read about in the Bible magnifies your study in ways you never imagined! Contact Blanca Phillips directly with your questions (504-816-8441).

Dr. JUDI JACKSON
GEORGIA/ALABAMA CENTER SPECIALIST
Dr. Judi Jackson has been connected with NOBTS for over three decades. In addition to earning an MRE (1983) and a PhD in Christian Education (2005), she has taught as an adjunct professor since 1995 and served in the Dean of Students office as Associate Dean of Students and Coordinator of Women's Programs (2010-2015). Following a move with her husband Allen to Atlanta, Georgia, Dr. Jackson now focuses her efforts on the Georgia/Alabama extension centers, primarily out of the North Georgia Hub in Duluth. We are excited for you to begin studying at the North Georgia (NGA) campus in Marietta, GA or the Duluth, GA campus.   Orientation will be held on the following dates: (Select One)* Monday, January 9, 2016, from 9:00 AM-1:00 PM  Tuesday, January 10, 2016, from 5:00 PM- 9:00 PM   *The orientation sessions on Monday and Tuesday are identical. You must select one date to attend.   The orientation location is Johnson Ferry Baptist Church, 955 Johnson Ferry Rd., Marietta, GA 30068 in the Magnolia Room (first floor).  Orientation is a graduation requirement for ALL students. After orientation, NGA faculty and staff will be available to assist you to register for courses for Spring 2017 semester.   We have changed the process by which you will drop and add courses after the start of the semester! You will drop or add any courses during the two-week drop/add window  the same way that you originally registered for courses in the student portal.   Please click here to proceed to the student portal .  Please note: any changes to your existing 2020 Fall course schedule after August 21, 2020 will incur a $20 charge  per course change . Any late registrations will incur a $125 flat fee.  Late Registrations : Any student that has not registered for courses prior to the registration deadline are subject to approval from the program level Associate Dean, and NOBTS and Leavell College reserves the right to remove students from any courses that are not approved by the Associate Dean.
