NOBTS, GA/AL Extension Centers (Jan. 21st, 2020)

NOBTS, GA/AL Extension Centers

WHAT DO I NEED TO DO IF I DECIDE TO DROP A CLASS?  The option to drop/add a course is only open without financial tuition penalty during the Drop/Add period for semester-long courses which occurs during the first TWO weeks of the fall and spring semesters. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (4-meeting hybrid courses) can be dropped before the second class meeting. The cost to drop/add a course during this period is $20 per drop and $10 per course addition.

ID BADGE/LANYARD
As an NOBTS student, when you enter the building of North GA and Duluth centers, you NEED to be wearing your NOBTS ID badge/lanyard. If you are NOT wearing your NOBTS ID badge/lanyard, you will need to stop at the front desk and sign in. If your ID badge/lanyard disappeared over the summer, please see Mrs. Lee or me. Please fill out the form for the ID card/name badge here.
*When you request the ID Badge, please present the following items:
  • We need to verify your US. government-issued ID before we issue an NOBTS ID card.
  • This card will be used as an NOBTS ID card and NGA name badge.
LIBRARY CARD REGISTRATION
Speaking of it being a new day, we're super excited that the library at NGA is now located in the same place as our classrooms! Our new library assistant Rev. John Kwak has created a new way to register for library use. Please complete this form as soon as possible so that your information will be on file. You will continue to check out books in the same way, filling out the card in the back of the book and leaving it in a designated place in the library. Mrs. Helen Shin, our extension center librarian, has done an excellent job moving and preparing the library for your use at Cross Pointe!

**Please check the finalized Schedules  & classroom assignments for S. 2020 at your center!

WHAT ABOUT GETTING TEXTBOOKS FOR CLASSES?  Students are responsible for obtaining textbooks before classes begin. https://nobts.ecampus.com/ and Amazon are two primary sources for seminary textbooks. You may also check out the Facebook page NOBTS Marketplace (https://www.facebook.com/groups/nobtsmarketplace/) to see if anyone is selling a book you need.
