We have changed the process by which you will drop and add courses after the start of the semester! You will drop or add any courses during the two-week drop/add window the same way that you originally registered for courses in the student portal. Please click here to proceed to the student portal

Please note: any changes to your existing 2020 Fall course schedule after August 21, 2020 will incur a $20 charge per course change. Any late registrations will incur a $125 flat fee. 

Late Registrations: Any student that has not registered for courses prior to the registration deadline are subject to approval from the program level Associate Dean, and NOBTS and Leavell College reserves the right to remove students from any courses that are not approved by the Associate Dean.

**Please Note: After the Drop/Add period, a student can still withdraw a course, but there is no prorated refund.

As an NOBTS student, when you enter the building of North GA and the other centers, you NEED to be wearing your NOBTS ID badge/lanyard. If you are NOT wearing your NOBTS ID badge/lanyard, you will need to stop at the front desk, sign in, and get permission. If your ID badge/lanyard disappeared, please send the form to your center director's office: Please fill out the form for the ID card/name badge here.
*When you request the ID Badge, please present the following items:
  • We need to verify your US. government-issued ID before we issue an NOBTS ID card.
  • This card will be used as an NOBTS ID card and NGA name badge.

If you enrolled for Fall 2020 semester courses as a new student or a returning student, your NOBTS ID verification sticker is available at your center office or program office from Monday (August 24, 2020). We just delivered the stickers to each extension center. The registration stickers are valid through each academic year.

The Cross Pointe Church has graciously allowed us to use  a parking lot for NOBTS students. All NOBTS students should  use an upper level of the parking lot during this semester. The lower parking lot will be used for visitors and new students. Please follow the below direction and use the upper parking lot, which is designated parking area for NOBTS.

As we begin our new semester, we are pleased to share with you about our safety measures during COVID -19. For everyone's safety and in compliance with the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, all faculty, staff, and students are asked to wear a face mask while in the building, practice social distancing, and personal hygiene.
  • Temperature Check: We will take your temperature when you arrive at the NGA center.
  • Professor Sneeze Guards will be installed in 8 classrooms: This adds another layer of protection and comfort for our staff, students, and instructors.
  • Social Distancing at least six feet
  • We will ask everyone to wear a mask in the building/ a face mask will be provided if you forget to bring one
  • Reduced room capacity per local guidelines
  • Clorox wipes will be used in each room
  • Sanitizing Wipes will be provided for your use to wipe your desk and chairs
  • Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the center

WHAT ABOUT GETTING TEXTBOOKS FOR CLASSES?  Students are responsible for obtaining textbooks before classes begin. https://nobts.ecampus.com/ and Amazon are two primary sources for seminary textbooks. You may also check out the Facebook page NOBTS Marketplace (https://www.facebook.com/groups/nobtsmarketplace/) to see if anyone is selling a book you need.
